I was under Dr Rajagopalan Pradeep's care for just over a week. throughout that time he took the time to explain, indeepth, what was was causing the problems I had and what he was planning to do for treatment.
I was really impressed that he would take the time to talk to my wife on the phone and explain everything that was going to to her as well. above and beyond what I expected.
Dr Pradeep is an amazing man.
I was admitted to Pembury Hospital on the 18th April 2020 under Dr Rajagopalan's care.
I was very poorly and had numerous things going wrong with with me and due to the pandemic, not many Doctors stayed too long in the room to talk to me. But Dr Rajagopalan was different. He wanted to know everything about me from day 1 and he waited patiently without interrupting me, allowing me to speak my mind.He listened to my concerns and worries and wanted to help me. He was the only Dr that actually listened to me and did his utmost to help me. His care is beyond great, I am alive and on the road to recovery because of Dr Rajagopalan. I owe him my life! He came everyday to see me and he spent a considerable amount of time with me, ensuring that I was progressing well. He alerted the other teams of my condition and had plans in place for me should I deteriorate in the night or during the weekend.
Throughout my stay in hospital, I was kept informed by Dr Rajagopalan of my condition and the plan and not once was I unsure of what was happening. He reassured me all the time and encouraged me which I am so grateful. He not only cared for me but for my family as well. Dr Rajagopalan was very tenacious and pursued Kings to accept me as a patient for surgery. His headstrong determination and perserverance resulted in me been transferred to Kings and having my operation.
Even whilst I was an inpatient at Kings, Dr Rajagopalan called me to check on me, he spoke to my consultant and enquired about my progress. Before the surgery I was pertrified and was very unsure about going for it, but Dr Rajagopalan reassured daily and promised me he will check on me after the surgery. And to this day, this wonderful, caring and compassionate doctor has fulfilled every promise he made to me. I am recovering well because of the fantastic care I personally received from Dr Rajagopalan. He is the epitome of great care and every doctor should admire and inspire to be like him.
My Father has been in Tunbridge Wells hospital for 6 weeks having suffered the effects of Coronavirus and Pneumonia.
It has been an extremely worrying time for us but we have felt completely reassured that my Father is in good hands.
Dr. Pradeep goes above and beyond his duty of care. He gives us regular updates via video call, always keeping us informed about the next steps and also allowing us to ask any questions.
He also gave us his personal phone number in case we had any worries or questions, which helped put our minds at ease, knowing he would be there whenever we needed him.
He is extremely thorough, conducting investigations where necessary and has acted quickly, organizing tests and scans to find out what is causing my Father’s symptoms which, if left untreated, could have been fatal. He leaves no stone unturned.
My Father was critically ill when he was first admitted but has recovered and his health has improved significantly since he has been under the care of Dr. Pradeep.
We feel honored to have such a dedicated, kind and caring doctor in charge of him.
We are sincerely grateful for everything he has done.
Re:COVID-19 patient - This Doctor was very informative about what he was going to do, & explained well, why, at times procedures had to be changed.
He gave the patients wife, his personal mobile, explaining clearly, time scale approximately, on results. And said any questions, to call him on that number. From the outside, & not being able to see my husband, as he was very unwell, it put my emotions completely at rest for his wife. That made all the difference.
He was as caring, informative, & continued to liaise with other specialists, as much at the begining, as at the end of my husband's stay, which was 8 days. Total time from getting the virus, was 3 wks.
Dr Pradeep took the time to explain to me under conditions where I’m sure he had many other patients to deal with. I felt very confident that he did all the necessary tests to get to the bottom of why I ended in hospital. He is a fantastic doctor!
